Today's Goth look - Miss Pouty Princess

This is a look I've done many times before. It's so cute.
I have this old picture below from the early 90's.
Couldn't find any of the earlier pictures with this look from the late 1980's right now (they are in an album somewhere...). But 20 year old baby BatBrat 24 years ago looks very similar to the 44 year old BatBrat I must say...
I still have that crown in my collection too.

Today's Goth look - Crying Beauty Queen

Today I went for the classic crying beauty Queen make up.
It's Monday, so you need to spice it up!

And may I just say how much I adore these lenses! A random buy from Wish (direct link). And as you can see they look just like picture. They are comfortable as well. No complaints so far :)

Today's Goth look

I've just felt so bubbly all day!
It might be that my weight loss is going well, or it can be because it's Friday 13 tomorrow  - and that means us Goths are allowed to kill cheerleaders!
Right?!
Or have I misunderstood this whole Friday the 13 thing?

Today's Goth look & D vitamin

Mainly, so far, I'm just using the blog to post extra many pictures of today's Goth look.
As an extension of my Facebook and Instagram, so it's a bit boring unless you really like to see pictures of me and my style/make up.
Managing 3 kids, a cute husband and gothic life in general makes my mind all over the place.
But hey, that's a good thing! It means I have a good life :)
At home I usually go up, shower and do the basics in my make up. Then have my breakfast, and after that I finish my look.

I used to be a real morning person when my babaybats were babies, and got up at 05:45, did my make up, left them at daycare at 06:30 and then had my breakfast. Nowadays I've turned my day around and rarely gets up before 08:00. I go to bed between 02-04 and mostly get up between 09-10:00. It's horrible! I need to get this in order!

It started because I was very low on D vitamin. You are supposed to be between 125-200 nmol/l. Everything below 50 is considered severe deficency, and I had 4 nmol/l! No wonder I was so tired all the time?! Now I'm constatly on a high dose of D vitamin and it's so much better.
Well, that's what you get for being a vampire...
Being tired sucks! I don't wanna sleep until my grave!

The Love Story part 3

January 7 in the Love Story:
I lived in Kalmar, and my future husband in Karlskrona; 8,4 Swedish miles apart.
I asked my mother the day before if this handsome fella I met at the disco could come and sleep over in my room on Saturday.
She got really quitet.
Then she said: Does he like chicken caserolle? I got so happy!!!

The thing was his mother turned 40 on that day, so he totally ditched his mums 40's birthday party to be with me.
I still remember when I asked him what he gave her, he answered: "-A blouse".
I remembered thinking that was a strange gift for a 40's birthday. Hahaha
Neither him, or his mum have any recollection of this now 28 years later. LOL

He came by train, and I went in to town and met him.
This was before Internet so I've just seen him live two nights before. I had no chance to stalk his Instagram or Facebook accounts to swoon over pictures like we do nowadays. Just my own blurry memories.
Would I even recognice him?
Yes. I did.

As he jumped out of the train I thought inside my mind; "- Was he THAT handsome?!!! Score!"
I felt like I won the pretty-boy lottery!
Then we took the bus to my village. We sat at the back and made out ALL the way.
He was so perfect, smelled so good, looked like out-of-this-world pretty and I barely could look at him because I found him so beautiful. I still do!

Nowadays this day is spent at his parents house with dinner, since it's his mums birthday,
And I always thank her for her beautiful son :)
Homemade bow tie.
Naturally with a portrait of me on it.
My mother in law knows just what I like!

Brown lenses makes me look a bit stupid and sweet.
I can probably lie my way out of any shenanigans
wearing them...
My beautiful ear jewellry. It sucks I couldn't find the
one to the left for both ears though :(

The Love Story part 2

As I said, I met my husband January 5, 1989, when I was 16 and he almost 20.
We met at a disco, and it was love at first sight.
Neither of us had ever seen the other one before.
(Actually he saw me first, as I was checking in my coat).

After we danced (and made out heavily) (actually we looked at each other across the dancefloor. I opened out my arms towards him, and he opened out his arms towards me, and we just walked right through the crowd like this and fell into each others arms, without a word being said! We danced together, and just held each other tight. After half the song I started making out with him and grabbed his fine piece of ass. He told me later he was a bit shocked about my bluntness. Haha. Typical me!) I got his phone number and promised to call him at 13:00 the next day.
I remember memorizing his number in the car ride home, just in case I'd lose the note in someway.

Still to this day I call him at 13:00 January 6 and we share some of the dialogue we had back then.
It's so cute.....or borderline crazy, I'm not quite sure...

I think it's very important to remember why you fell in love  with that special someone so you'll never forget.

The best lovestories often have that special first meeting and they will stay with you forever.

Love,

Adora BatBrat

The Love Story - 28 year Anniversary in love

♥ Today is the Love day ♥

28 years ago my heart got stolen. It was a direct attraction from the both of us!
Today we have been taking the road down memory lane, as we do every year anniversary, and went by the evening minute by minute. Such strong memories.

It's so weird you can feel so strong for someone?! And it never fades.
I truly met my faith that evening 28 years ago. My forever love. My partner until death.
It's easy being in love when he loves you just as much back 💖
(He's got lipstick all over right now.)
At 00:11 we will dance to our first tune again, as every year - Caravan of Love with The Housemartins
I always love how we cuddle and talk about that first, magical evening every year at our anniversary, and even goes through the dialoges and do the exact same things.

At our 10th anniversary we even wore the exact same outfits (we have them saved in a box since they are magical to us). That is just so freaky crazy, but still kind of cute :)
I have promised to love him until the end of time - and I will never break that promise.
It is him -always.
Me and the prettiest man alive (according to me), Mr BatBrat.
Picture from 2001/2002, so I'm about 28/29 and my darling 32/33.

Today's Goth look

We went to the movies to watch Star Wars Rogue One.
To me it was an unnecessary story to be told, just a paranthese between two stories. But it was still totally okay.

And yes, these are my real glasses. I have astigmatism and only wear them when I watch TV or movies.

My babybats said I looked like an old teacher on the picture to the right. WTF?!
I will fail them on the good kids test!
Naw, just kidding! Naturally they are good.
I wished they were bad.
I'm Goth.
It's embarassing...
