The kids searches the area for Easter eggs, for the last 4 years we've actually seen a real life rabbit coming to her yard during lunch, we eat and have fun.
My mother, her brothers family and my grandpa Harry all live within 50 meters from each other in the town where I grew up, Kalmar, but now slightly outside, at a place named "Drag".
Me and grandpa Harry have the same matching tattoo. As a child I remember listening to his story about how he, at the age of 10, and his friends were to do the 3 hobo dots, but as his turn came he only managed to do one before the break was over and the teacher came back. So he only have one dot. His only tattoo.
I always said: "-When I grow up I'll do the same tattoo as you, grandpa." Then I forgot about it. But as he turned 90 (he is 95 now) I tattooed the dot in matching colour and had a little speach at his 90 birthday about how no one knew what a rebel my grandpa is, and that he actually have a tattoo as the wild child he once were. And then told him followed his tradition by marking myself the same way. He thought it was so cool and felt very honoured. Hopefully my own kids will follow this new tradition as they get older :)Yes, it's true. My mom actually live at a place named "Drag". Drag in Swedish means draught.
Happy Easter, pretties! |
